Batman: Hush 2 Preview Art Revealed by DC Comics

Author : Joshua Mar 18,2025

2025 promises to be a monumental year for DC Comics, and at the forefront is the highly anticipated sequel: Batman: Hush 2. It's a significant event—DC's President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer, Jim Lee, helming a monthly Batman comic is not commonplace. Launching in March with Batman #158, this storyline serves as a direct continuation of the acclaimed Hush saga (2002-2004).

DC has unveiled an extended preview of Batman #158, offering early glimpses into Batman #159 and showcasing the diverse variant covers for Hush 2 (or H2sh, for the creatively inclined). Explore the full preview in the gallery below:

Remarkably, Batman: Hush 2 reunites the original creative team. Writer Jeph Loeb and artist Jim Lee return, joined once again by inker Scott Williams, colorist Alex Sinclair, and letterer Richard Starkings. This marks the first time the original team has collaborated on a Hush-centric storyline since the original concluded.

Building upon the recent epilogue in Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition, Hush 2 reveals the Dark Knight's discovery that his childhood friend, Tommy Elliot, survived their final confrontation. This sets the stage for a new enigma as Hush manipulates Batman's allies and enemies.

Hush 2 will unfold across Batman #158-163, with #158 hitting shelves March 26th. Following this arc, DC will relaunch the series with a new #1 issue and a fresh costume, marking a new era for the Dark Knight under writer Matt Fraction and artist Jorge Jimenez.
