Monster Hunter Wilds 2nd Beta Goes Live

Monster Hunter: Wilds' Second Open Beta Dates Announced!

Capcom has announced the dates for the highly anticipated second open beta of Monster Hunter: Wilds, offering players another chance to experience the vast open world before its February 28, 2025 release. Building on the success of the first beta (late 2024), this extended beta will run across two weekends in February, available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam.

Beta Dates and Times (Pacific Time):

  • Weekend 1: February 6th, 7:00 PM – February 9th, 6:59 PM
  • Weekend 2: February 13th, 7:00 PM – February 16th, 6:59 PM

Returning and New Content:

The second beta includes all content from the first, allowing players to revisit character creation, the story trial, and the Doshaguma hunt. A thrilling new addition is the Gypceros hunt, a fan-favorite monster returning to the series. Furthermore, characters created during the initial beta can be carried over, saving players time and effort.

Addressing Player Feedback:

Capcom acknowledges feedback from the first beta, addressing concerns regarding visuals and weapon mechanics. The developer assures players they are actively working to enhance the game's quality before the official launch, incorporating player suggestions and refining the overall experience.

This second open beta represents a crucial step for Capcom, providing valuable time for further refinement and a renewed wave of excitement for Monster Hunter: Wilds. Whether you're a returning hunter or a newcomer, prepare for an action-packed February!
