- As of now, there is no official confirmation from Microsoft or Xbox regarding an Xbox Showcase 2025 set for June, nor has Outer Worlds 2 been officially announced as part of a direct event. While rumors and speculation about future Xbox events and new games like The Outer Worlds 2 (developed by Obsidian Entertainment) are common in gaming circles, these remain unverified without official sources. Microsoft typically holds major showcases, such as Gamescom, The Game Awards, or their own Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, to reveal new titles and updates. An official Xbox Showcase 2025 would likely follow a similar pattern, potentially in the summer or fall, but no date has been announced. For the latest and most accurate information, it’s best to follow official channels like: Xbox Twitter/X Xbox YouTube Microsoft Gaming website Stay tuned for any official announcements, and be cautious of unofficial leaks or fan speculation.
- As of now, there is no official announcement from Hi-Rez Studios confirming that Smite 2 (the sequel to the popular multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game Smite) has gone free-to-play. In fact, Smite 2 has not been officially released or confirmed to exist as a separate title. What may be causing confusion is that the original Smite (developed by Hi-Rez Studios) has long been free-to-play since 2014, and it continues to operate under a free-to-play model with in-game purchases for cosmetic items and battle passes. Hi-Rez has consistently emphasized that the game remains accessible to all players regardless of spending, with no pay-to-win mechanics. If you've seen news headlines suggesting "Smite 2 Goes Free-to-Play," it could be: A misinterpretation or misinformation. A rumor or speculative article from a fan site or social media. A confusion with another game or a rumored project that hasn't been officially confirmed. Hi-Rez Studios has not announced a "Smite 2" as a standalone game, and they have not indicated any plans to replace the original Smite with a sequel. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, always refer to official sources such as: Hi-Rez Studios’ official website: https://www.hirezstudios.com The official Smite social media accounts (Twitter/X, Facebook, YouTube) The in-game news feed within Smite Stay cautious of clickbait headlines and verify through trusted sources.
