Rainbow Six Siege X is currently in its closed beta phase but is gearing up for a wide release in June 2025, catering to both home console and PC gamers. Ubisoft touts this update as the most significant content overhaul in Rainbow Six Siege's history. Among the exciting additions in the closed beta is the Dual Front game mode, which pits teams against each other in 6-on-6 battles.

Dual Front mode introduces a larger scale and more chaotic gameplay experience than what Rainbow Six Siege typically offers. With expansive maps, teams must strategically decide which areas to attack and defend, completing objectives across different zones as they encounter the opposing team. Alongside this new mode, Siege X plans to revamp existing maps, overhaul the user interface, enhance the technical presentation, and refine the online matchmaking system, especially to assist newer players.

Rainbow Six Siege X Trailer

On March 13, 2025, Ubisoft unveiled a gameplay trailer for *Rainbow Six Siege X* to mark the launch of its closed beta. The trailer showcases the thrilling Dual Front mode and the intense 6-on-6 action on its new map. It also hints at several core game refinements, including technical enhancements, new gameplay features, and rewards for existing players. Additionally, new players can look forward to free-to-play access during this period.

The Rainbow Six Siege X closed beta runs from March 13 to March 19, with selected partner players streaming their experience on Twitch. Viewers of these streams have the opportunity to receive access codes for the beta, which are valid for the six-day duration. To participate, players must link their Twitch account to their Ubisoft Connect account. Notably, owning the original Rainbow Six Siege is not a prerequisite for joining the Siege X closed beta.

Ubisoft has detailed the Siege X closed beta and how players can gain access on their official website. As of now, no further beta testing, such as an open beta closer to the June launch, has been announced. Rainbow Six Siege is set to take its most ambitious leap forward yet, ten years after its initial release. As a testament to Ubisoft's long-standing commitment to Tom Clancy-inspired games, Rainbow Six Siege X continues to push boundaries and excite fans worldwide.
