Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Offline Version Coming Soon to Android!

After announcing the shutdown of its online version, Animal Crossing has unveiled some exciting news today. Remember how Nintendo was planning to release a paid offline version of the game? Well, they've just announced the release date. Mark your calendars because Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, the new offline version, is set to launch on Android on December 3rd.

What Else Do We Know?

The current free-to-play Pocket Camp is scheduled to officially shut down on November 29th. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, the offline version, promises to be a reimagined experience. It's available as a one-time purchase. If you grab it before January 31st, 2025, you can get it for $9.99. After that, the price will increase to $19.99.

As the name suggests, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete is a comprehensive package. It includes years' worth of seasonal items, events, and everything else that Pocket Camp has accumulated since its launch in 2017. You'll still be able to set up your dream campsite with over 10,000 items to choose from.

So, Will There Be Any New Features in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete?

Absolutely! One of the exciting new features is the ability to create your own Camper Cards. These are essentially personal trading cards that let you showcase your unique style. You can choose your pose, pick your color, and you're set. What's more, you can exchange these cards with other players! Check out the latest trailer here to see it in action.

There's also a new hangout spot called Whistle Pass, where all your Camper Card buddies can gather. Picture guitar jams under the stars! And for those of you who've invested time in the current version, Nintendo has made it possible to transfer your old Pocket Camp save data into the new version. You have until June 2nd, 2025, to make the switch.

Even though Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete is an offline game, Nintendo mentioned that it will require occasional internet checks to verify aspects like time and account information. Rest assured, all the beloved seasonal events, from Halloween spookiness to summer festivals, will still be part of the experience.

So, are you excited about Pocket Camp Complete? If you want to savor these last few moments with the current version, you can still check out Pocket Camp on the Google Play Store.
