Genshin Impact 5.5: Android Controller Support Added

If you're a *Genshin Impact* player on Android, you're in for a treat! The long-awaited controller support is finally making its way to the game with the release of Version 5.5. It's been a significant wait, especially since iOS players have enjoyed this feature since 2021. But don't worry, the wait is almost over!

When Will Genshin Impact Get Controller Support on Android?

Mark your calendars for March 26th, 2025, because that's when you'll be able to connect your Android device to a controller and dive into the world of *Genshin Impact* without relying on the touchscreen. The update will officially support four popular controllers: DualShock 4, DualSense, Xbox Wireless Controller, and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. Keep in mind, all of these require Bluetooth connectivity.

In addition to the exciting controller support, Version 5.5 will introduce several quality-of-life enhancements. One of the highlights is the cross-scene quest tracking feature, allowing you to seamlessly follow your quests across different areas. Simply open the map and teleport to your desired location to continue your adventure without any interruptions.

For newer players, the boss guides are getting an update to better explain enemy mechanics, making it easier to strategize your battles. Moreover, the Artifact system, Serenitea Pot, and Mail system are all receiving optimizations. You can look forward to learning more about these changes during the Special Program Announcement on March 14th.
