"Guide to Obtaining a Mount in Rune Slayer"

Author : Elijah Apr 18,2025

*Rune Slayer* delivers a full MMORPG experience within the *Roblox* platform, complete with "Kill 10 X" quests, crafting, dungeons, and fishing. A crucial element of any MMORPG, mounts, are indeed available in *Rune Slayer*. While the game doesn't explicitly guide players on acquiring one, we're here to walk you through the process step-by-step.

Before you dream of swiftly traversing *Rune Slayer*'s vast world, ensure you meet these prerequisites:

  • Reach level 20: Achieving this level typically takes about 5-6 hours, or even less with friends. Engage in quests, jobs, and mob combat to level up quickly.
  • Tame a pet: A quest will guide you on taming, but here's a quick rundown:
    • Locate an animal you wish to tame, such as a Deer, Wolf, or Spider.
    • Attack it once.
    • Hold a food item the animal favors—Apples for Deer, Raw Deer Meat for Wolves.
    • Watch for a heart to appear above their head, indicating the taming attempt.
    • If the heart fully grows, the animal will collapse and become your pet.
    • If the heart turns black, the taming has failed. Don't fret; simply try with another animal.

Once you've reached level 20 and have tamed a pet, you're ready to pursue your mount.

Upon reaching level 20, visit **Jimmy the Stable Master in Wayshire**. He'll offer you a quest named "Jimmy's Delivery," requiring you to deliver a package to the Stable Master in Ashenshire. Accept the quest and head north through Wayshire's northern entrance. Follow the road and ascend the hill leading to **Greatwood Forest**. Be cautious not to stray too far, as the area hosts challenging mobs. Continue north until you arrive at **Ashenshire**, marked by grand houses atop towering trees.

Once back, speak with Jimmy the Stable Master again, who will reward you with a **Saddle**. Note that the Saddle won't appear in your inventory to prevent accidental loss or sale.

With your Saddle secured, summon your pet by holding **"T"**. Approach your pet and select the **"Mount"** option by pressing **"E"**. This method works for all mountable pets in *Rune Slayer*.
