inZOI, developed by Krafton, requires robust system specifications to deliver a seamless gaming experience, as revealed through the game's system requirements and optimal settings. Dive in to understand more about inZOI's system demands and the nuances of different hardware tiers.
inZOI Revealed System Requirements for the Game
RTX 2060 as Its Minimum Graphics Requirement
Krafton, the developer behind inZOI, has set the bar high for system specifications to ensure players can enjoy the best gaming experience. On March 12, 2025, they published detailed system requirements and optimal settings on their website, dividing them into four tiers: Minimum, Medium, Recommended, and High.
For the minimum settings, inZOI requires an NVIDIA RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX5600 for graphics, coupled with an Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 CPU. This is a significant jump from the system requirements of EA's Sims 4, which only asks for an NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or higher. Krafton justified this by stating, "inZOI delivers high-quality graphics and realistic city-level simulations, which require higher system specifications to run smoothly."
Moving to the recommended settings, players need an NVIDIA RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 for graphics, and an Intel i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 for the CPU. The highest settings push the envelope further, demanding an NVIDIA RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 graphics card and a CPU like the Intel i7 14700K or AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D.
Given the impressive visuals showcased in the game's trailers, it's evident that inZOI leverages the capabilities of Unreal Engine 5. While Krafton has mentioned plans to bring the game to PS5 and Xbox, the current PC requirements suggest that significant optimization will be needed for console versions.
Graphics Comparison by System Specs
Krafton has also shared a video that compares the graphics quality across the different system specifications. This visual comparison highlights differences in lighting, textures, and color, with the highest PC specs delivering the most immersive visual experience.
Although inZOI's demanding specs might initially limit its player base compared to genre rivals like Sims 4, Krafton is committed to broadening accessibility. They stated, "While these requirements ensure the best possible gameplay experience, we remain committed to making inZOI accessible to more players." To achieve this, they plan to introduce a feature that automatically adjusts game settings for optimal performance. Additionally, Krafton is focused on ongoing optimizations to enhance performance and explore ways to reduce system requirements without sacrificing quality.
inZOI will feature a live stream showcase on March 19, 2025, at 01:00 UTC, available on inZOI’s official YouTube and Twitch channels. This event will cover early access pricing, DLC details, the developmental roadmap, and answer fan questions.
