The much-anticipated official trailer for the live-action remake of *Lilo & Stitch* has finally been released, providing fans with an in-depth look at the beloved characters brought to life. Maia Kealoha shines as Lilo, stepping into the iconic role originally voiced by Daveigh Chase in the 2002 animated classic. Alongside her, Courtney B. Vance embodies the serious yet lovable Cobra Bubbles, while Billy Magnussen takes on the quirky Pleakley, adding his unique flair to the character.
While previous teasers showcased plenty of Stitch, this trailer highlights Kealoha's portrayal of Lilo, giving audiences a glimpse into her interpretation of the character. The trailer also features Cobra Bubbles in action, accompanied by Zach Galifianakis' Jumba. In a surprising twist, Jumba and Pleakley appear disguised as their human actors on Earth before briefly reverting to their alien forms, with Pleakley's alien appearance being particularly notable.
Fans will be delighted to see live-action renditions of many iconic scenes from the original film. Highlights include Stitch's dramatic entrance as a falling star, his transformation into a more dog-like appearance at the shelter, and the heartfelt moment when Lilo utters the famous line, "Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten."
Mark your calendars for the theatrical release of *Lilo & Stitch* on May 23, 2025. This live-action adaptation will follow closely on the heels of another beloved Disney classic turned live-action, *Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs*, set to premiere on March 21, 2025.
