Peep Demo Theater Returns

MGS Delta Peep Demo Theater Returning As Revealed by ESRB Rating

The ESRB rating for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (MGS Delta) has confirmed the return of a notable feature from the original game: the Peep Demo Theater. MGS Delta has been rated M for Mature, and the ESRB summary highlights the inclusion of this feature, which was first introduced in the Subsistence and HD Collection versions of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

The Peep Demo Theater allows players to view all cutscenes featuring the female spy EVA, but with a twist—she appears in her underwear. Players can manipulate the camera freely, zooming in on any part of her body. To unlock this feature, players must collect all other cutscenes in the Demo Theater, a task that requires completing the game four times.

While the Mature rating aligns with the game's themes of violence and gore, as players take on the role of an elite soldier navigating enemy lines, the return of the Peep Demo Theater, often referred to as "Creepy mode," has surprised many fans due to its controversial nature.

Faster Camouflage System

In a significant quality-of-life improvement, MGS Delta introduces a faster way to change camouflage. A video shared by METAL GEAR OFFICIAL on March 28 via Twitter (X) demonstrates this new feature, allowing players to switch camouflage for faces, uniforms, and more in under three seconds. This is a marked improvement over the original Metal Gear Solid 3, where changing camouflage was a cumbersome process that required pausing the game, navigating menus, and selecting options, which often disrupted the game's pacing and immersion, especially during stealth sections.

As the release date of August 26, 2025, approaches, anticipation for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater continues to build. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, promising a blend of nostalgic features and modern enhancements that aim to enrich the player's experience.
