Emerald Diorama Brings JRPG Vibes to Vampire Survivors
Vampire Survivors has just released its most expansive update yet with the free Emerald Diorama DLC, a thrilling crossover with Square Enix’s iconic SaGa series. This update infuses the game with a rich JRPG atmosphere, bringing a fresh and exciting experience to fans.
The Emerald Diorama DLC introduces a captivating new stage designed as a mini world map, complete with a world-hopping theme that will immerse you in an adventurous journey. Over a dozen new characters join the fray, each with unique abilities—from puppeteers to singers of cursed melodies, adding depth and variety to your gameplay.
Enhancing your arsenal, the DLC offers more than 16 new weapons, alongside a novel Glimmer system. This system allows you to randomly acquire new skills during your runs, adding an element of surprise and strategy. The soundtrack also receives a boost with nine new music tracks, further enhancing the immersive experience.
To unlock the Emerald Diorama, head to the Moongolow stage and engage with the new merchant. Purchase the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold, and unlock the content piece by piece, expanding your Vampire Survivors universe.
A new feature, character parties, allows you to form mini squads, adding a cooperative element to the game. Don't miss the launch trailer for a sneak peek at what Emerald Diorama has to offer.
The DLC also introduces two new Adventures, each featuring six chapters. "To End an Ice Age" is designed for the base game, while "Tides of the Foscari" extends the narrative of the new DLC, offering more content to explore.
Alongside the DLC, There’s Another Free Update
Accompanying the Emerald Diorama DLC, Vampire Survivors also received a free update called The Coop, centered around a charming chicken theme. This update introduces Gazebo, a new chicken character, along with a new weapon and a relic that speeds up gameplay.
Players can unlock a plethora of achievements and gain access to Darkana. To fully unlock The Coop update’s features, collect 500 lifetime floor chickens.
Here’s a pro tip: When playing The Coop, refrain from killing anything for the first minute to unlock the Gaze of Gaea. Evolving it with Parm Aegis will further unlock Gazebo, enhancing your gameplay experience.
Vampire Survivors, along with the free Emerald Diorama DLC and The Coop update, is available on the Google Play Store. The game now supports cross-platform saving, allowing you to continue your progress across PC, Xbox, Android, and iOS devices.
