Get ready, Brawl Stars fans, because the game is about to get a splash of Bikini Bottom fun with an upcoming SpongeBob season. Imagine battling it out with SpongeBob and his pals as brawlers—sounds like a blast, right? The latest Brawl Talk spilled all the juicy details on this collaboration and other exciting changes in the upcoming update.
When Is The Brawl Stars x SpongeBob Collab?
The event kicks off on September 5th and will keep the party going until October 2nd. This crossover packs in everything you could hope for (and maybe a few surprises), from themed skins and new game modes to unique power-ups.
The first new game mode, Jellyfishing, is a 3v3 showdown where the aim is to catch jellyfish. You can hold onto them for five seconds, but if you're taken down, you'll drop your catch. Another exciting addition is Trio Showdown, featuring three players per team. With 12 players and four teams, this mode allows you to revive as long as one of your teammates remains in the fight.
Let's dive into the new brawlers you'll be able to get your hands on. Moe becomes available on August 29th. He's a blind rat who lives in the sewers and boasts incredible digging skills. When he's not busy maintaining tunnels, he's hurling stones at his enemies. His Super lets him jump into a custom-built digging machine and tear across the map. You can snag his Monterey Moe Skin for just 29 Gems.
Then, on September 26th, Kenji enters the fray. He's a samurai-turned-sushi chef with exceptional slicing skills. With alternating attack patterns, he slashes through enemies in no time. He'll be sporting the Fruit Samurai skin.
What About SpongeBob Brawlers?
The Brawl Stars x SpongeBob season is loaded with themed skins and a special currency called Krusty Kash. You'll find SpongeBob El Primo, Patrick Buzz, Squidward Mortis, Sandy Jessie, Mr. Krabs Ticks, and Plankton Darryl.
When it comes to power-ups, you can enjoy Krabby Patties that orbit around you and a Clarinet attack powered by Squidward's "beautiful" music. There's also an entire upgrade system to boost these power-ups even further. For more details, be sure to check out September's Brawl Talk video!
To unlock these power-ups, you'll need to collect Krusty Kash. You can earn them by winning games with a SpongeBob modifier or by grabbing the daily freebies. So, download Brawl Stars from the Google Play Store and get ready for the SpongeBob season!
