Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Developer Updates
Paradox Focusing On Bug Fixing, Stability, and Performance
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2's latest delay pushes the release to October 2025. On March 26, the game's official Twitter (X) account announced the new release date alongside a video update.
In the video, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann shared insights into the game's current development status. He stated, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."
Paradox has been actively engaging with the community through Dev Diaries, covering characters, stories, and mechanics. However, to prioritize the game's quality, all Dev Diaries have been paused so that the developers can focus on elevating the game to its highest potential.
First Revealed in 2019
Originally announced in March 2019, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was initially slated for a March 2020 release, developed by Hardsuit Labs. However, delays began in October 2019, pushing the release to an unspecified date in 2020, and then to 2021.
During this time, several key personnel left the project. In a significant shift, Paradox Interactive announced in February 2021 that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be working on the game. Instead, development was handed over to The Chinese Room. Under their guidance, the game's release was rescheduled multiple times, from late 2024 to the first half of 2025, and now to late 2025.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is set to launch in October 2025 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Stay informed with the latest developments by checking out our article below!
