LoL: Wild Rift Patch 6.1: Ascending Stars is scheduled to launch later this month, promising a cosmic transformation that will redefine everything from the menus to the very battlefield itself. Prepare to embark on an adventure through the Dual Nova galaxy, where the Challenger’s Star and Adventure’s Star await.
Three exciting new champions are set to join the roster, each bringing unique abilities that could change the game. Ryze, the Rune Mage, introduces massive AoE damage and the ability to teleport teammates across the map with Realm Warp. Nocturne, the Eternal Nightmare, thrives in chaos, using Paranoia to plunge enemies into darkness. Meanwhile, Zilean, the Chronokeeper, manipulates time, slowing foes and even reviving allies with Chronoshift.
Several champions are also receiving significant updates. Garen’s Courage now scales over time, enhancing his tankiness, while his Judgment will now shred enemy armor. Ambessa is transitioning from the jungle to the Baron lane, with adjustments to her damage and life steal. Smaller tweaks are also planned for Diana, Fiora, Jax, Sona, and Kalista.
Beyond champion updates, a new Bandle-inspired Rift is set to invigorate non-Ranked modes, featuring Enchanted Gifts that emerge through portals during the laning phase. Mages will benefit from long-awaited item updates, including the new Bandle Fantasy item that provides extra burst damage, Hextech GLP800 which slows enemies with frost bombs, and Malignance, enhancing ultimate abilities for even more potent spellcasting.
Ranked mode is also evolving with the launch of the Challenger’s Star, marking the beginning of a new season. Expect updates to the Ranked store and an easier path to seasonal rewards. Midway through the patch, the Adventure’s Star will unlock, introducing AAAARAM—a fresh twist on ARAM with added augments and stunning galactic visuals.
The Wild Pass will offer two stunning new skins: Wondertown Twisted Fate and Battlecast Nasus, with Twisted Fate's skin introducing an entirely new skinline.
LoL: Wild Rift’s version 6.1 patch is slated for release on April 16th. For more details, be sure to visit the official website.
