Amaze your friends by turning into a skilled artist in no time. Unlock your creative potential.

Artist's Eye is a tool that assists you in drawing or painting with a real pen or pencil onto paper or canvas.

Select a model picture (like a photo) and, while you draw, view your work through your phone or tablet's camera.

The model will appear semi-transparent over your drawing in progress, guiding you to trace the outlines—similar to the traditional camera lucida technique used for centuries (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camera_lucida).

For best results, mount your phone on a stable stand to keep it still and leave both hands free.

This isn't cheating; it's a fresh approach to working and learning.

WATCH THE INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO. Low ratings often come from users who didn't grasp the app's proper use.

Tip: On newer Samsung and LG phones without a menu button, press and hold the task-switch button to access the menu.
