Review codes for the game, achieving gold status in early December, will be distributed "in the coming days," according to global PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling. To allow reviewers and streamers ample time for initial impressions and reviews, these codes are expected four weeks before launch.
Interestingly, initial "final previews," based on sections of the review build, are anticipated a week after code distribution.
The developers opted to delay the release date to ensure a top-tier gaming experience for players at the start of 2025. The current launch date is February 4th. This shift also strategically avoids competing directly with Assassin's Creed Shadows, Avowed, and Monster Hunter Wilds, all launching in February.
The game will be available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. Console players can expect 4K/30 fps and 1440p/60 fps options, with PS5 Pro optimization implemented since launch.
For PC players aiming for ultra settings, a system featuring an Intel Core i7-13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, 32GB of RAM, and a GeForce RTX 4080 or Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics card is recommended.
