Approximately two and a half years ago, we were captivated by Dungeons of Dreadrock, a delightful gaming experience crafted by Christoph Minnameier. This dungeon crawler, reminiscent of classics like Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder, offered a unique top-down perspective instead of the traditional first-person view. Its 100 diverse levels, each representing a floor in a sprawling dungeon, presented a series of intricate puzzles. The goal: rescue your kidnapped sibling. Dungeons of Dreadrock was notoriously challenging, with some levels demanding sharp logic to disarm traps and outmaneuver enemies. Our review praised the game, and its subsequent releases across numerous platforms mirrored that positive reception. Now, we eagerly anticipate its sequel. Introducing Dungeons of Dreadrock 2 – The Dead King’s Secret.
The vibrant red backdrop and prominent Nintendo Switch logo, accompanied by the familiar snap sound effect, confirm that this new Dungeons of Dreadrock installment is launching first on the Nintendo Switch eShop, slated for November 28th. However, PC gamers can rejoice! A PC version is in development and is currently available to wishlist on Steam. Mobile players on iOS and Android platforms can also look forward to the game's arrival. While the exact mobile release dates remain unclear, the promise of its release is exciting. We will provide updates as soon as further release date information for other platforms becomes available.
