"World of Goo 2 Launches Mobile Version with Physics Puzzles"

After an eagerly anticipated wait, fans of the iconic puzzle game can rejoice as World of Goo (mobile) returns with its full sequel. Developed by 2DBOY and Tomorrow Corporation, World of Goo 2 has now hit the mobile scene, available on Android and iOS, alongside releases on Steam and PlayStation 5.

A Ton of New Stuff

World of Goo 2 Mobile introduces a plethora of new features, including over 30 additional achievements to unlock. A significant addition is the options menu, marking a first for any game from 2DBOY or Tomorrow Corporation, enhancing player customization and control.

Originally launched on Windows in October 2008, the first World of Goo allowed players to construct bizarre bridges and towers using goo balls, challenging the laws of physics and gravity. In the sequel, players will now manipulate realistic flowing, splashing, and viscous liquid. This liquid can be directed like a river, transformed into Goo Balls, used to extinguish fires, and navigate through an array of mind-bending puzzles.

World of Goo 2 Mobile also introduces new types of Goo, such as Jelly Goo, Liquid Launchers, Growing Goo, Shrinking Goo, and Explosive Goo, among others. These new elements promise a wild and intriguing gameplay experience as players figure out how to combine them effectively.

There Are a Lot of Levels to Chew Through in the World of Goo 2 Mobile

The game unfolds a new narrative across five chapters, offering more than 60 new levels, each packed with additional challenges. The storyline spans hundreds of thousands of years, delving into a complex and engaging plot. Players will collaborate with a supposedly eco-friendly company, tasked with collecting as much Goo as possible. However, as the game progresses, deeper mysteries and hidden agendas will be uncovered.
