Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5 Reveals Zoo Map & NieR Collab

Call of Duty: Mobile is set to launch its fifth season, Primal Reckoning, on May 28th, 2025, at 5 PM PT. This update brings a diverse mix of content, blending the series' signature futuristic dystopian atmosphere with unexpected elements like a zoo-themed map and a crossover with NieR: Automata.

The Zoo Map Is Finally Making Its Mobile Debut

Originally featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops, this fan-favorite mid-sized map is now optimized for mobile. It features decaying animal exhibits, deserted souvenir shops, and a monorail track running through the center.

In Battle Royale mode, Buy Machines are being introduced across the Isolated map. Players can collect in-game currency, defeat other Operators to take their cash, and spend it on equipment such as armor, Perks, and Scorestreaks. For those seeking more powerful gear, items like the Purifier flamethrower will also be available.

A new Battle Pass arrives with fresh Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, and themed cosmetics. Customization options now extend to the Combat Axe and Smoke Grenade. SMG enthusiasts will be pleased to see the VMP added to the arsenal, usable in both Multiplayer and Battle Royale modes.

The Highlight of Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5 Is NieR: Automata

Watch the preview for Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5: Primal Reckoning and its NieR: Automata collaboration below.

The NieR: Automata event puts players in command of the YorHa Unit to combat Machine Lifeforms in a special mission. Structured as a branching campaign, completing objectives earns action points. These points unlock new paths, checkpoints, and Skill Chips.

Participants can earn the Kui Ji – YoRHa No. 9 Type S operator and four distinct melee weapons from the NieR universe. Upcoming Draws will also feature Kestrel – YoRHa No. 2 Type B and Fiona St. George – Commander White.

Download Call of Duty: Mobile from the Google Play Store to prepare for Season 5.
