Stardew Valley Mobile Update 1.6 Now Available

Stardew Valley's highly anticipated 1.6 update finally arrives on mobile devices on November 4th, 2024! Console and mobile players can now enjoy the extensive content initially released on PC in March 2024.

What's New in Stardew Valley Update 1.6 Mobile?

This massive update significantly expands the gameplay experience:

• Multiplayer Boost: Support for up to eight players online doubles the original multiplayer capacity, allowing for even more collaborative farming, fishing, and building.

• New Festivals: Two exciting fishing festivals—the Trout Derby and SquidFest—join the seasonal event lineup, alongside the Desert Festival.

• Meadowlands Farm: A brand-new farm layout ideal for livestock raising and convenient fishing opportunities.

• Enhanced Social Interaction: Over 100 new NPC dialogues enrich interactions with the game's beloved characters.

• Game-Changing Items: Discover a wealth of new items, including the Big Chest (nearly double the storage of a regular chest), a dehydrator, a heavy furnace, and a bait maker.

• Customization Extravaganza: New furniture styles and over 25 hats provide extensive customization options. Earn prize tickets from quests and festivals, redeemable at a prize machine in Lewis' house.

• Multiple Pets & Winter Fashion: After maximizing your starter pet's affection, you can now have multiple pets, receive gifts from them, and even dress them in hats! NPCs sport stylish winter attire.

• Island Exploration & New Crops: A golden Joja parrot assists in locating golden walnuts on Ginger Island. Cultivate new crops like carrots, summer squash, broccoli, powdermelon, and two giant crop varieties.

Reason for the Delay?

The delay in releasing the update for mobile and consoles allowed the developers to thoroughly test the update on PC and address any potential bugs before a wider release.
