Dell is currently offering an Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PC featuring the new GeForce RTX 5080 GPU for just $2,399.99, with free shipping. This represents one of the most competitive prices available for an RTX 5080-equipped prebuilt, particularly given that most other manufacturers have been gradually increasing their prices since the RTX 50 series launched in January. For comparison, the only other Alienware gaming desktop with an RTX 5080 GPU costs over $4,000. Building your own PC with a standalone GPU is even more challenging, as prices are likely to match or exceed the cost of this complete system.
Update: Like many others, Dell has been affected by recent tariffs. With stock levels of the Blackwell GPUs remaining low, prices for Alienware gaming desktops equipped with RTX 50 series GPUs are expected to rise soon.

Alienware Aurora R16 Intel Core Ultra 7 265F RTX 5080 Gaming PC
$2,399.99 at Alienware
This Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PC comes equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265F CPU, GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, 16GB of DDR5-5200MHz RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The current-generation Intel Core Ultra 7 265F Meteor Lake CPU offers a maximum turbo frequency of 5.3GHz, with 20 cores and a 30MB cache. It is cooled by a robust 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler, and the system is powered by a generously configured 1,000W 80PLUS Platinum power supply.
The RTX 5080 is one of three new Blackwell graphics cards now available (and notoriously difficult to find). In our Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 FE review, Jackie noted that "If you already own a high-end graphics card from the past few years, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 doesn’t offer a significant performance leap compared to the RTX 4080, although DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation does enhance visuals in supported titles. However, for gamers with older GPUs, the RTX 5080 delivers a substantial performance boost, especially when utilizing Nvidia’s AI features."
RTX 5080 and 5090 GPUs Are Sold Out Everywhere
The initial batch of Nvidia GeForce RTX 50-series graphics cards went on preorder and sold out within the first hour. The RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 were released first, followed by the RTX 5070 Ti in February. Unfortunately, the same scarcity applies to prebuilt gaming PCs featuring these GPUs. At launch, several systems were listed, but now most are either out of stock, marked up in price, or subject to extended delivery delays.
