Bendy: Lone Wolf is another take on the Ink Machine franchise coming to mobile in 2025

Author : Zoe Jan 26,2025

Bendy and the Ink Machine is making a mobile comeback with Bendy: Lone Wolf! Building upon the formula established by Boris and the Dark Survival, this new title promises an expanded experience. Launching on iOS, Android, Switch, and Steam in 2025, Lone Wolf offers a top-down, isometric perspective.

Mid-2010s gamers will recall the impact of the original Bendy and the Ink Machine, a quirky survival horror game that captivated audiences with its episodic structure, distinctive rubber hose-style enemies and environments, and compelling narrative.

The reveal trailer (link below) showcases gameplay as Boris the Wolf, navigating the perils of Joey Drew Studios. The original Bendy and the Ink Machine, along with spin-offs Nightmare Run and Boris and the Dark Survival, are already available on mobile. Lone Wolf appears to borrow heavily from Dark Survival, though its exact relationship—whether a definitive version or a fresh interpretation—remains unclear.

A Lasting Legacy

The Bendy and the Ink Machine franchise maintains significant popularity, recognized as a pioneering title in the mascot horror genre alongside the iconic Five Nights at Freddy's. The success of Bendy: Lone Wolf will hinge on its execution. While not the franchise's first isometric survival horror outing featuring Boris, its multi-platform release (including Steam and Switch) suggests lessons learned from previous mobile iterations will be applied to create an even more frightening experience.
