Blastoise Returns in Pokémon TCG Pocket's Latest Wonder Events

Author : Anthony Apr 13,2025

The latest Wonder Pick event in Pokémon TCG Pocket is here, and it features none other than Blastoise, the beloved cannon-toting water-type Pokémon. As part of the event, which runs until January 21st, you can grab exclusive cards and new cosmetics using your Chansey pick. This event is a fantastic opportunity for both new and longtime fans of the original Pokémon lineup to enhance their collections.

Wonder Pick events are a thrilling feature of Pokémon TCG Pocket, allowing you to choose from five random cards drawn from booster packs opened by players worldwide. During this event, you can not only collect the usual cards but also complete missions to earn shop tokens. These tokens can then be used to acquire Blastoise-themed cosmetics, such as a special coin and playmat, adding a unique flair to your gameplay.

Blastoise, much like Charmander and Squirtle from the previous Wonder Pick event, is a fan-favorite and needs little introduction. The event also introduces new display board backdrops, binder covers, and more, all showcasing both Trainer Blue and Blastoise.

Pick your championIf you missed out on Charmander or Squirtle, don't worry—their portion of the event is still ongoing. For those who have already completed that part, the Blastoise event offers even more exciting items to collect.

Pokémon TCG Pocket has been eagerly anticipated, especially since mobile platforms have long needed a solid adaptation of the iconic card game that ignited this vast multimedia franchise. While we can't cover every possible combination, our guides aim to provide you with comprehensive insights.
