Marvel Rivals Unveils New Top Hero in Stats

To improve the gameplay experience and increase the popularity of previously underused characters like Storm and Black Widow, NetEase Games implemented major hero balance adjustments for Marvel Rivals as Season 1 launched in January.

Following the updates, Storm has received substantial buffs, significantly boosting her popularity and effectiveness. According to Rivals Meta, Storm now holds the top win rate ranking, marking a dramatic rise from her former position on the roster.

In competitive mode, Storm's win rate exceeds 56%, and her pick rate has climbed to 16%. Not long ago, she barely reached 1%, but she now outperforms heroes like Adam Warlock, Jeff, Spider-Man, Hela, Hulk, Magic, Iron Man, and many others.

Nevertheless, the most popular character duo in Season 1 remains Cloak and Dagger. However, their win rate has fallen below 49%. Black Widow continues to be the least picked and least successful character in the game.

With hundreds of thousands of players engaged, including in competitive mode, Marvel Rivals is currently growing. Only 0.1% of all players achieve the Grandmaster title, making it an exclusive accomplishment despite the existence of the Celestial rank.

Reaching such a high rank is challenging, but one player has achieved something extraordinary. In Season 1, this player reached Grandmaster without taking any damage across all 108 matches played! Focusing solely on healing teammates as Rocket Raccoon,

they restored over 2.9 million health points in those 108 games! Additionally, they recorded nearly 3,500 assists while avoiding elimination.
