When is the Pokemon GO Bug Out Event?
The Bug Out event in *Pokemon GO* kicks off on March 26 at 10 AM local time and runs until 8 PM local time on March 30. That's a solid five-day window to hunt down those elusive bug-type Pokemon. It's also an excellent time for Shiny hunters, as nearly every featured Pokemon has a Shiny variant in the game.

Additionally, Timed Research will offer rewards such as a Lure Module and encounters with event Pokemon. The Paid Timed Research comes with a Lure Module, two Premium Battle Passes, and encounters with event Pokemon. Make sure to complete both types of research and claim your rewards before the event concludes.

Starting with the Bug Out event, new bug-type themed Avatar items will be available in the in-game shop. These include:

Pokemon GO Bug Out Collection Challenges
The Bug Out event will feature Collection Challenges focused on event-themed Pokemon. Completing these challenges will reward you with Stardust, XP, and encounters with event-themed Pokemon.
