First announced in December 2023, the Chainsaw Man movie is a direct sequel to the acclaimed MAPPA-produced anime series that debuted in 2022. The story follows Denji, a young protagonist who gains a new lease on life after striking a deal with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. This pact endows Denji with the extraordinary ability to transform parts of his body into chainsaws, propelling him into a world far beyond that of a mere Chainsaw Man.
Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will introduce the character Reze, a significant figure from the original manga. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and penned by Hiroshi Seko, the film reunites the entire voice cast from the anime series to reprise their roles, ensuring continuity and excitement for fans.
