CHASERS: Beginner's Guide to Mastering Hack & Slash Gameplay Mechanics Without Gacha

Author : Patrick May 28,2025

Welcome to CHASERS: No Gacha Hack & Slash, a thrilling, skill-based action game set in a world ravaged by endless war. As a player, you'll take control of elite warriors known as Chasers, whose mission is to hunt down corrupted entities threatening the realms' balance. This game stands out with its no gacha policy, ensuring that every character, weapon, and upgrade is earned through gameplay alone. This beginner's guide is designed to demystify the core mechanics and game modes, helping new players advance more quickly. Let's dive in!

Understanding the Gameplay Mechanics of CHASERS

CHASERS: No Gacha Hack & Slash is an enthralling action RPG featuring a 3D environment where you engage in fast-paced combat. You'll command a variety of characters, officially termed "Chasers," which you unlock as you progress through the game without relying on gacha mechanics. The combat system mirrors modern ARPGs but with unique twists in ability execution.

During battles, you'll notice two critical bars at the screen's bottom: the HP (Health Points) and Energy bar. Your HP indicates your current health; if it drops to zero, your Chaser is defeated and can't continue fighting. The Energy bar shows your current energy level, which is consumed when using abilities. This energy regenerates over time or can be boosted by collecting Energy drones found in dungeons.

For controls, a virtual movement wheel guides your Chasers' movements. If you're playing on a PC using BlueStacks, you can enjoy more precise control with a keyboard and mouse. A unique feature in CHASERS is the "Elphis" magic, enabling your Chasers to use all abilities without consuming energy. This turbo mode is perfect for unleashing damage combos and annihilating foes. When your Elphis bar is full and glowing blue, it's ready for activation.

Each Chaser boasts unique active abilities with specific cooldowns, preventing immediate reuse. The ultimate ability, the most potent in a Chaser's arsenal, charges as your Chasers deal and take damage, glowing once fully charged.

Crafting your Team Formation in CHASERS

Strategy plays a significant role in CHASERS, especially in team formations. You can deploy up to three unique Chasers in battle, choosing them manually or letting AI automatically fill slots with the strongest Chasers based on their power level. A compelling feature is the ability to switch between Chasers seamlessly during combat, with all deployed Chasers visible on the right-hand side of the screen.

Leveling Up and Enhancing Your Chasers

  • Leveling Up: Utilize your accumulated Gold and experience materials of varying rarities to elevate your Chasers' levels. Each level increase boosts their base stats like Attack, Defense, and Health. Chasers can reach a certain level cap, beyond which they must be advanced to further increase the cap.

  • Skilling Up: Enhance your Chasers' active and passive abilities by using Rusty Bolt of Wave and Battle Data of different qualities. This enhances skill damage multipliers and shortens cooldown periods.

  • Breakthrough: This feature requires duplicate copies of your Chasers, which can be purchased with premium currency from the shop. Each duplicate helps break through, enhancing current abilities, stats, or unlocking new ones. Chasers can undergo this process up to six times.

For the ultimate gaming experience, consider playing CHASERS: No Gacha Hack & Slash on your PC or laptop using BlueStacks. Enjoy the game on a larger screen with the precision of a keyboard and mouse setup.
