Clue Mobile Now Features 2016 Suspects

Marmalade Game Studio has thrilled fans of the classic murder-mystery game, Clue (also known as Cluedo), by releasing the 2016 Suspects Pack for its digital version. If you're a fan of this timeless game, you'll be excited to dive back into the world of intrigue with some of the iconic characters from the 2016 edition.

Who Are the 2016 Clue aka Cluedo Suspects?

The pack brings back beloved characters such as Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Reverend Green, Professor Plum, Dr. Orchid, and Mrs. Peacock. This update is all about these characters, offering you the freedom to incorporate them into any scenario you desire, without being bound to specific crime scenes or case files. Whether you choose to relive your nostalgic favorites or mix them with the newer 2023 cast, the choice is yours.

The community's vocal demand for the return of the 2016 characters, especially in light of the more modern 2023 additions, has been heard. It's great to see Marmalade Game Studio responding to its fans' wishes with this new pack.

There’s More Coming to the Game!

In addition to the 2016 Suspects Pack, Clue aka Cluedo is introducing a new Retro Rules Set game mode, which harkens back to the original 1949 rules. This mode is available to players for free, bringing a nostalgic twist with old-school mechanics that alter movement and accusation strategies.

In the Retro Rules Set, tokens will start at designated spots on the board, with Miss Scarlet taking the first move—unless she's absent, in which case Colonel Mustard steps up. Accusations must be made from within a room, and Clue Cards are eliminated from this mode. Additionally, you cannot move through squares occupied by other players, adding a layer of strategic depth to the gameplay.

Don't miss out on these exciting updates! You can find the game on the Google Play Store.
