Crashlands 2 has finally landed on Android and other platforms, bringing back the beloved Butterscotch Shenanigans with an eagerly awaited sequel. The original Crashlands, released in 2016, was their first major hit, attracting millions of players worldwide.
What's Different in Crashlands 2?
Once again, you step into the shoes of Flux Dabes, the same irritable space-trucker from the first game. Flux returns to the planet Woanope seeking a much-needed break after endless shifts with the Bureau of Shipping. But upon landing, a sudden explosion strands Flux in a new, unfamiliar area, far from familiar faces, equipped with only a handful of gadgets and their quirky survival instincts.
This time, Woanope feels more vibrant and teeming with life. You'll encounter a variety of creatures and explore strange biomes filled with unexpected encounters, such as the opportunity to trick a Trunkle into a trap-laden field. Every character in the game, except for Flux, is either an alien or a robot, and the item names are filled with playful puns and whimsical terms, enhancing the game's humor.
Combat in Crashlands 2 has been revamped, and the base-building mechanics have become more intricate. You'll now be able to construct towering walls, authentic roofs, and cozy nooks for crafting and farming. Befriending aliens will unlock new recipes and skills, emphasizing the importance of the friendship mechanic in your journey. Additionally, you can now raise pets by discovering eggs, learning how to hatch them, nurturing them, and having them join you in battles.
A Sci-Fi Survival with Unhinged Alien Adventures
In Crashlands 2, you'll uncover that the orbital mishap wasn't just a stroke of bad luck; it's part of a larger, mysterious plot. As you delve deeper into the world and interact with the local inhabitants, you'll begin to unravel the mystery and identify the masterminds behind it.
If you enjoyed the first game and are eager to dive into this sequel, you can download Crashlands 2 from the Google Play Store.
