Genshin Impact 4.8: Summer Edition with New Characters, Maps, Outfits!

Genshin Impact enthusiasts, get ready for a splash of summer fun with the upcoming Version 4.8 update, aptly titled 'Summertide Scales and Tales.' Mark your calendars for July 17th, as this update promises to bring a wave of exciting new content to the game.

Genshin Impact Version 4.8: A Fresh Wave of Content

HoYoverse is set to unveil a new summer-themed map called Simulanka, a magical realm filled with origami creatures and clockwork figures. Dive into this enchanting world alongside characters like Kirara, Nilou, Navia, and the Wanderer to solve mysteries, overcome challenges, and immerse yourself in the summer vibes.

A new five-star character, Emilie, joins the roster in Version 4.8. As a Dendro polearm user and a perfumer, Emilie specializes in dealing extra damage to enemies affected by Burning. Look forward to her debut and Yelan's rerun in the second half of the Event Wishes, following the initial reruns of Navia and Nilou.

Speaking of Nilou and Kirara, both are getting summer makeovers. Kirara's new outfit can be yours by collecting 'Excerpts of Bliss' and 'Jubilant Feathers,' while Nilou's floral-themed attire will be available at a limited-time discount.

What Else Is New? A Lot of Exciting Features!

Simulanka isn't just a new map; it's a hub for seasonal events and mini-games. Try your hand at shooting balloons from an aerial view in Boreal Flurry, or test your luck at grabbing toy figures in the claw-machine-inspired Flying Hatter’s Trick. For those who love a challenge, Metropole Trials offers intense combat scenarios where you can assemble two teams.

Participating in these mini-games will earn you Starsail Coins, which you can exchange for unique figurines to adorn the "Good Shelves" scattered throughout Simulanka. Complete the main storylines, and you'll have the chance to claim these shelves as Furnishings for your Serenitea Pot.

Don't miss out on the fun! Check out Genshin Impact on the Google Play Store and stay tuned for more updates. And while you wait for the Version 4.8 update on July 17th, be sure to catch up on other exciting news, like Yostar's release of the English trailer for Heaven Burns Red.
