*Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii* introduces Goro Majima with two distinct fighting styles, including the "Sea Dog" pirate style, which boasts four powerful finishers for tackling large crowds. Yet, unlocking all the dark instruments in this game is no small feat.

How to Obtain the Dark God’s Violin in Pirate Yakuza

The Dark God’s Violin is the first Dark Instrument you can unlock in *Pirate Yakuza* and is essential for progressing through the main story. You'll encounter this mission in Chapter 2, where Jason, a crew member, guides you to meet an old friend. This leads to a confrontation with the Devil Flag pirates, who have murdered Jason's friend and stolen the Pharoh Stone.

After this encounter, you meet Misaki, the orphaned daughter of Jason's friend, who joins the Goro Pirates seeking vengeance. This triggers a side story that directs you to the islands east of Madlantis. Here, you'll face a formidable fleet of Devil Flag pirates, much stronger than any you've encountered before. Focus your attacks on the boss ship to advance to the next stage of the fight onboard the enemy vessel. Upon defeating the Devil Flags, you'll earn the Dark God’s Violin. You can then test this new finishing move in a thrilling 100-enemy brawl on the island.

Following the battle, a cutscene introduces you to the captains of the massive fleet: Yakuza, Ronin, Shinobi, and Zeus. They challenge you, officially starting the sidequest to collect all Dark Instruments. While defeating the Devil Flags isn't mandatory for the main story, it's crucial for gathering all the Dark Instruments.

How to Obtain the Dark God’s Ocarina in Pirate Yakuza

After your first boss ship victory and the initial 100-enemy brawl, you'll notice special Devil Flag markers in the waters of *Pirate Yakuza*. Defeating these ships grants you Devil Flags, and you'll need 70 of them to progress toward the next Dark Instrument. Engage any Devil Flag ships or treasure islands you encounter to collect these flags efficiently.

Once you've amassed 70 flags, Atali Island becomes available on your map. Prepare a strong landing party for this challenge, as you'll face multiple waves of attackers. After navigating through these waves, you'll reach a treasure chest containing the Dark God’s Ocarina. However, you must defeat Devil Flag Captain Yakuza before claiming it as your own.

How to Obtain the Dark God’s Guitar in Pirate Yakuza

After defeating Captain Yakuza, a series of cutscenes and new objectives reveal the Devil Flag Captain's deceit about the location of the Pharoh Stone. This leads to another 100-enemy fight where you can test your new Dark God’s Ocarina. Subsequently, you learn that Zeus is headed to Flame Island, marking the next challenging phase of your journey.

You'll need a three-star ranking and 130 Devil Flags to tackle this gauntlet. Keep engaging Devil Flag Pirates whenever you see them to gather these flags. Navigate to the Flame Entrance Lighthouse to trigger a cutscene, then conquer four treasure islands: Sunset, Heatwave, Welldone, and Scorching Heat. Remember, these islands don't allow the use of health items during battles, so ensure Goro and his landing crew are well-prepared.

After conquering the treasure islands, another fleet battle awaits. Focus on the boss ship, and once aboard, defeat the first mate to land on Flame Island. Choose Jason, Masaru, Minami, and Saejima for your landing party to face smaller battles before confronting Captain Ronin. Utilize your Dark Instruments to defeat Ronin and his crew, gaining access to the treasure chest with the Dark God of the Earth’s Guitar.

How to Obtain the Dark God’s Saxophone in Pirate Yakuza

The Dark God’s Saxophone is the final Dark Instrument in *Pirate Yakuza*, requiring a Pirate Rank Four to proceed. Boost your rank by completing main story missions, recruiting new crew members, and engaging in mini-games and side quests. You'll also need 220 Devil Flags to unlock this stage.

Navigate to the Frost Entrance Lighthouse to initiate a cutscene, then engage the Devil Flag’s Fleet blocking Frost Island. Four additional islands (Snowview, Coldwave, Icicle Island, and Glacial) are available for plundering more Devil Flags. Defeat Captain Shinobi’s First Fleet before landing on the island, where you'll face a series of battles leading into a cave with a recovery area.

Beyond the recovery area lies the final boss fight on Frost Island against Captain Shinobi and his crew. After defeating him, a cutscene unfolds where Zeus takes Misaki hostage, and Goro obtains the Dark God’s Saxophone. The game concludes with one last battle against Zeus to rescue Misaki, a challenging two-stage fight requiring a nearly fully upgraded Goromaru. Although this final encounter isn't necessary for obtaining all Dark Instruments, it's a fitting conclusion to your journey.

And that's how you obtain all Dark Instruments in *Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii*.
