"Guide to Obtaining Atomic Batteries in Atomfall"

Author : Ryan Apr 08,2025

In *Atomfall*, Atomic Batteries are not just crucial for advancing the storyline but also serve as a valuable asset for bartering, giving players a significant advantage in trades. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to acquire Atomic Batteries in *Atomfall*.

How To Find Atomic Batteries With Leads in Atomfall

To progress in *Atomfall*'s main story, you'll need to find and deposit Atomic Batteries at The Interchange. The game provides several Leads that guide you to these batteries. Here are the leads I've discovered:

  • “A Fruitful Trade”: This lead reveals that the Reverend obtained his Atomic Battery from a trader named Molly, located west of Wyndham Village. Molly has another battery and is particularly interested in trading for Molotov Cocktails.
  • “Batteries and All”: Found in the sewer, this lead suggests that the druids in Casterfell Woods might possess Atomic Batteries. Head southwest into the Druids’ Camp, navigate to the door flanked by blue fire torches, and enter the Castle Ruins. The battery is next to the High Priestess overlooking a valley.
  • “Battery Request at the Skethermoor Depot”: This lead points to a battery at the Skethermoor Vehicle Depot, southeast of Skethermoor at coordinates 43.4 E, 74.6 N. Look for a blue hatch near two greenhouses on a hill. Enter, clear out any Outlaws, and navigate to the room with the red light. Use the key found in a vent to unlock the room containing the Atomic Battery. Ensure you have Radiation Resistance to survive the retrieval.
  • “Molly Sold a Battery to the Vicar”: This lead is redundant if you've already obtained the Reverend’s battery, as it refers to the same battery sold to the man in St. Katherine’s Church in Wyndham Village.
  • “Revered Got His Hands on a Battery”: A note from Alf leads to the Reverend’s Atomic Battery in St. Katherine’s Church, Wyndham Village. Upon entering, you'll find the Reverend covering up a murder. Use the bargaining option to stay silent and blackmail him for the key to his chest upstairs, where the battery is stored.
  • “Spare Batteries at the Dam”: This lead directs you to the Dam in Casterfell Wood, northwest at coordinates 20.9 E, 90.9 N. The battery is in the electrical area on the right side facing the Dam. Enter the Control Room, pull the Substation Override lever until the right light turns red, and safely retrieve the battery.

Can You Barter for Batteries in Atomfall? Answered

Bartering for Atomic Batteries in Atomfall

If you're struggling to find Atomic Batteries, bartering is a viable alternative. Molly, for instance, has a battery you can trade for, and other traders may also have them due to their rotating inventory. When bartering, pay attention to the icons next to the items: green indicates high preference, yellow moderate, and red low. Experimenting with different items can help secure a better deal for Atomic Batteries.

How To Extract Atomic Batteries from Robots in Atomfall

Extracting Atomic Batteries from Robots in Atomfall

In *Atomfall*, the Protocol deploys large, armored robots across the Zone, often guarding key areas or patrolling. These robots are powered by Atomic Batteries, which you can extract if you manage to disable them. The most effective method is to target flamethrower-wielding robots from a distance with a rifle, shooting the red barrels to overheat and stun them. Once stunned, approach and remove the Atomic Battery from the robot's back.

*Atomfall* is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass, offering players multiple platforms to explore this engaging world and master the art of acquiring Atomic Batteries.
