Master the Fountain of Confession Puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

This guide details how to solve the intricate Fountain of Confession puzzle within the Vatican section of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, unlocking the secrets of the giants. Remember to photograph all inscriptions and imagery for Adventure Points!

Accessing the Puzzle:

After completing the Sacred Wounds puzzle, use your journal's map to locate the Fountain of Confession in the external courtyard.

Phase 1: The Dragon Statues:

  1. Retrieve the fountain key from the chest near the construction area.
  2. Access the storage room and use your whip to reach the rooftop.
  3. Swing to the first dragon statue. Ignore it and swing to the second.
  4. Grab the dragon claw and use the lever to rotate the statue to face its counterpart.
  5. Swing back to the first statue; its claw is missing.
  6. Rappel down to retrieve the fallen claw. (A cutscene with Gina Lombardi will occur).
  7. Return to the statues, attach the claw, and rotate both to face each other. This rotates the fountain statue below.

Phase 2: The Water Puzzle:

  1. Use your whip to pull the fountain statue, revealing a gate blocked by three statues.
  2. Activate the lever that appears on the fountain. This reveals the first wall puzzle.
  3. Position the larger male statue under the water bucket.
  4. Use your whip to fill the bucket.
  5. Push the male statue to "baptize" the smaller central statue. This moves the left-side statue.

Phase 3: The Angel Puzzle:

  1. Reactivate the lever to reveal the second wall puzzle.
  2. Manipulate the stone path layers using the handles (left and right) to guide the angel figure to the right.
  3. This moves the remaining statue, unlocking the gate.

Phase 4: Final Step:

Push the central statue through the gate to activate the spiral stairway and proceed.
