Indus by Supergaming hits 11M pre-regs, unveils 4v4 deathmatch mode

Author : Jonathan May 04,2025

Supergaming's Indus, the much-anticipated Indian-made battle royale game, has recently announced the addition of a thrilling new 4v4 deathmatch mode. This latest feature is part of the game's ongoing development, which continues to be tailored specifically for the Indian gaming community. Players currently participating in the closed beta can also enjoy an enhanced audio experience, thanks to a comprehensive update in sound effects and music.

Indus stands out as an upcoming battle royale title that not only incorporates the traditional elements of the genre but also introduces unique features such as the Grudge system. This system incentivizes direct confrontations with rival players, adding an extra layer of excitement to the gameplay.

Since its initial announcement in 2022, Indus has undergone multiple beta phases and seen consistent enhancements in its features. The game's popularity has been steadily growing, evidenced by its recent achievement of surpassing 11 million pre-registrations. This milestone, while indicating a slight slowdown compared to the rapid increase to 10 million pre-registrations in March, still highlights the significant interest from India's burgeoning mobile gaming audience.
