Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 Updates
Compensation in Free Diamonds
The launch of Infinity Nikki's Version 1.5 was highly anticipated, with developer Infold Games making several promises for the update that ultimately went unfulfilled. On May 18, Infold Games acknowledged the situation in a Twitter (X) post and offered compensation for what it described as an "unstable game environment and unsatisfactory content."
The update introduced numerous technical glitches and bugs across all platforms, with some issues making the game virtually unplayable. The developers also implemented sudden system changes, increasing the cost of 5-star outfits from 9 or 10 pieces to 11. This adjustment raised the maximum number of pulls required to complete an outfit to 220, making it considerably more expensive and time-consuming for players to collect full sets.

Furthermore, a new dye system was introduced that players found confusing and tedious, as it requires unlocking color palettes individually for each clothing item. The Threads of Reunion storyline was also removed in this update because the outfit linked to that event is still in development. "Technical hurdles in Version 1.5 prevented us from properly refining the introduction of the Sea of Stars chapter and the narrative setup for Threads of Reunion, which unfortunately caused confusion," the studio explained.
In response to player feedback, Infold Games announced, "As compensation for Version 1.5's shortcomings and schedule adjustments, all stylists will receive 120 Diamonds and 1 Energy Crystal daily from June 5 to June 12, for a total of 960 Diamonds and 8 Energy Crystals."
Although the studio has acknowledged the problems and provided compensation, it has yet to detail its plans for resolving them. Fans have flooded the comments section with concerns about the adjusted pity system, the problematic dye system, various bugs, and other issues.
Version 1.6 Delay

Due to the troubled release of Version 1.5, the developers have chosen to extend the current version to allow more time for addressing the issues. Consequently, Version 1.6 has been postponed until June 12, 2025, which will also impact the release and scheduling of in-game events.
Additionally, the new weekly task, Starlit Pursuit, originally planned for May 20, will now launch with Version 1.6. According to Infold Games, "This delay gives us the opportunity to refine the task mechanics for a smoother player experience. We will share further details at a later date—please stay tuned." Players will receive 360 Starlit Crystals as compensation for this postponement.
Further Adjustments Planned

The developers have only begun to address the multitude of problems caused by Version 1.5. "We are currently discussing additional adjustments that are not yet publicly listed. Some of these changes require longer development cycles, but we are committed to rolling them out through phased updates," Infold stated.
The studio plans to enhance communication with players by introducing a new initiative called the Miraland Round Table. This platform will enable players to submit their concerns and provide feedback directly to the development team. Players can participate by emailing the game's official account with "Table Advisor" in the subject line, or by using the in-game Customer Service option.
Infold Games expressed "remorse over delayed promises, but profound gratitude for your steadfast support." The developers have pledged to make the game "shine brighter than ever."
