Schneider reflected on the 2016 Ratchet and Clank film, stating, "I think back to the Ratchet and Clank film from several years ago. And we kind of got an early start on that. So, of course, we’re interested in that kind of thing. We love Ratchet and Clank in particular." Despite the mixed reviews of the initial film, Insomniac remains optimistic about future projects, especially after being acquired by Sony in 2019.
