Marvel Rivals Welcomes Invisible Woman and More in Season 1

Get ready for a thrilling update to Marvel Rivals! NetEase Games has unveiled the upcoming Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST. This major update brings a host of new content, headlined by the arrival of the Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman.

A new gameplay video showcases Invisible Woman's unique abilities. She's classified as a Strategist, boasting a kit that blends offensive and supportive capabilities. Her primary attack damages foes while healing allies, and she utilizes knockback to control enemy proximity. Invisibility, a double jump for enhanced mobility, and the ability to deploy a protective shield for allies round out her impressive arsenal. Her ultimate ability creates a zone of invisibility, disrupting ranged attacks.

Season 1 also introduces new maps and a fresh game mode, alongside a new battle pass. While Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are ready for action on January 10th, fans will need to be patient for the arrival of Human Torch and The Thing. NetEase Games confirmed that seasons will run approximately three months, with significant mid-season updates (around six to seven weeks post-launch) introducing additional characters.

Dracula will serve as the primary antagonist for Season 1. The absence of Blade, despite data leaks suggesting his presence in the game files, is a minor disappointment for some players. However, the overall excitement surrounding the new content remains high.

Key Features of Season 1:

  • Invisible Woman (Strategist) joins the roster.
  • Mister Fantastic (Duelist) makes his debut.
  • New maps and game mode.
  • New battle pass.
  • Dracula as the main antagonist.
  • Human Torch and The Thing arriving in a mid-season update.

The anticipation is palpable as Marvel Rivals continues to expand its roster and gameplay experiences. Stay tuned for more updates!
