LEGO has just unveiled its largest Jurassic World set to date: an impressive T-rex skeleton measuring over three feet in length. The set includes minifigures of Dr. Ellie Sattler and Dr. Alan Grant, key characters from the original Jurassic Park film where this skeleton was featured in the visitor center. Priced at $249.99, it launches on the LEGO Store on March 12 for LEGO Insiders (free to join here) and on March 15 for the general public.

With 3,145 pieces, this set is designed for adults 18 and older, making it ideal for display rather than active play. It may also involve more complex building techniques that could be challenging for younger builders.
It's difficult to fully appreciate the scale of this model from images alone. While the Dr. Grant and Dr. Sattler minifigures provide some perspective, the completed skeleton truly spans over three feet. The skull closely resembles the existing LEGO T-rex skull set (which my son built and looks fantastic), but the full skeleton significantly enhances the overall presence of this new release.

This dinosaur skeleton features articulated joints, allowing you to pose it in multiple dynamic positions. The head swivels, the jaw opens and closes, and the arms and tail can be adjusted. As with many LEGO movie-inspired sets, builders will discover several hidden Easter eggs during assembly. The set also includes a display stand and an informational plaque detailing the T-rex's diet, habitat, and other facts.
