Today's reveal also highlights some unique features of the set, including the introduction of Summons, part of Magic's first-ever Saga creatures that players can summon for assistance in battle. An example is Summon: Shiva, showcased in the gallery. Moreover, the set brings back double-faced cards, as seen with Cecil's dual identity as Dark Knight and Redeemed Paladin.

In total, the Final Fantasy set will boast over 100 legendary creature cards, with 55 of them being borderless legends. These cards are illustrated by fan-favorite artists who have contributed to the rich history of Final Fantasy.

Set to launch on June 13, Magic: The Gathering's Final Fantasy set will be fully draftable and Standard-legal. It will be accompanied by four preconstructed Commander decks, each inspired by a different Final Fantasy game: 6, 7, 10, and 14. Each deck will contain 100 cards, featuring a blend of new Final Fantasy cards and existing cards with new Final Fantasy-themed art.
