Marvel Snap Launches Spectacular Spider-Season Event

Following August's Young Avengers season, Marvel Snap (Free) swings into a new season featuring the Amazing Spider-Man! While Bonesaw remains absent, this season introduces exciting new cards and locations.

This season's key innovation is the "Activate" ability. Unlike "On Reveal," Activate allows players to trigger a card's effect at any point during their turn, offering strategic flexibility and evasion of "On Reveal" counters. The Season Pass card, Symbiote Spider-Man (4-Cost, 6-Power), boasts an Activate ability that absorbs the lowest-cost card at its location and copies its text, even re-triggering "On Reveal" effects. Its potential for game-changing combos, particularly with Galactus, is significant, though nerfs might be on the horizon.

Other notable additions include:

• Silver Sable: (1-Cost, 1-Power) Steals two power from the top card of your opponent's deck upon being played.
• Madame Web: (Ongoing) Allows you to move one card at her location to another location once per turn.
• Arana: (1-Cost, 1-Power) An Activate card that moves the next card you play to the right and grants it +2 Power. A likely staple in move-based decks.
• Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly): (4-Cost, 5-Power) An Activate card that spawns an identical copy at another location.

Two new locations join the fray:

• Brooklyn Bridge: Restricts players from placing cards there on consecutive turns, demanding creative strategy.
• Otto's Lab: The next card played here pulls a card from the opponent's hand onto the location, adding an element of surprise.
