The latest season of Marvel Snap is now live, and it's all about embracing legacy. Sam Wilson steps into the iconic role of Captain America, introducing fresh gameplay mechanics that will redefine your match strategies. Along with Sam, characters such as Diamondback and Thaddeus Ross bring new strategic depths, offering a rich exploration of gameplay this month.

Sam Wilson's transition from Falcon to Captain America is highlighted in this season's pass. His unique card ability adds Cap's Shield to a random location at the start of each match. You can strategically move the Shield across the board, and although it can't be destroyed, it enhances Sam's power by +2 whenever it's in his location.

February sees the introduction of several new characters. Joaquín Torres arrives on February 4th, followed by Iron Patriot and Thaddeus Ross on February 11th. Redwing joins on the 18th, and Diamondback rounds out the month on February 25th. These Series 5 cards will be available through the Token Shop and Spotlight Cache, offering multiple opportunities to add them to your collection.

Marvel Snap is also expanding with two new locations this season. The Smithsonian Museum provides a boost to Ongoing abilities, adding an extra +1 Power per card, while Madripoor enhances the highest-cost cards at its location by +2 Power after each turn. These new locations invite you to experiment with different deck compositions to leverage this season's strategic opportunities.

For those keen on collecting, February introduces new albums filled with avatars, emotes, and variants. The Viktor Farro album, launching on February 4th, offers rewards such as a Darkhawk variant and collector's tokens. The Lemon Fashion album, set to release on February 25th, features exclusive Elsa Bloodstone content, making it a must-have for avid collectors.
