Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon Announced as Sequel to Oceanhorn 2

FDG Entertainment and Cornfox & Bros. have announced an exciting addition to the Oceanhorn series with the upcoming release of Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon. Set to launch on Android, iOS, and PC via Steam in Q2 2025, this game takes place 200 years after the events of Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm, introducing a fresh narrative and gameplay style.

What’s the Story in New Game Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon?

In a departure from the sea-faring adventures of its predecessors, Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon plunges players into the heart of an underground labyrinth. The setting is a retro-style dungeon crawler, where you'll navigate through perilous depths.

The game is set in the world of Gaia, where the once-mighty Kingdom of Arcadia has fragmented into scattered islands, and the legendary White City is but a distant memory. Yet, hope persists as four determined adventurers embark on a quest to explore the mysterious Chronos Dungeon, rumored to house the powerful Paradigm Hourglass. This artifact holds the potential to alter history itself, offering a chance to restore Gaia to its former glory.

What About the Features?

Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon embraces the classic dungeon crawler format with a nostalgic 16-bit arcade aesthetic. The game is designed for couch co-op, allowing up to four players to collaborate in real-time action. Solo players can also enjoy the game by controlling all four heroes or switching between them as needed, ensuring a dynamic gameplay experience.

Each playthrough offers unique challenges as the heroes' starting stats are influenced by their zodiac signs, ensuring no two adventures are the same. The four playable characters include the Knight, Huntress, Grandmaster, and Mage, each bringing distinct abilities to the team.

Complementing the retro gameplay, the game features pixel art visuals and a chiptune-inspired soundtrack, enhancing the old-school arcade feel. For more detailed insights, the Steam page for Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon is now live and ready for exploration.
