"Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon Coming to Android, iOS Later This Year"

Author : Thomas Apr 14,2025

The top-down dungeon crawler genre continues to captivate gamers with its thrilling combat and immersive worlds, whether they're bursting with vibrant colors or steeped in gritty realism. Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon aims to refresh the beloved franchise with a mix of both aesthetics, and it's finally breaking out of its Apple Arcade exclusivity to reach a broader audience.

Set to launch on iOS, Android, and Steam later this year, Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon is set 200 years after the events of the second game. This installment introduces roguelite elements and cooperative play for up to four players, allowing you to dive deep into the labyrinthine dungeons in search of the Paradigm Hourglass. The game also offers the flexibility to switch classes on the fly, enhancing the dynamic gameplay experience.

With its 16-bit pixel art and procedurally generated dungeons, Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon evokes a nostalgic feel reminiscent of classic Zelda games. Despite its age, the game's visuals remain appealing, thanks to their timeless design.

Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon Gameplay

Fans have reason to be excited, as the upcoming release appears to be the Golden Edition that was previously exclusive to Apple Arcade in 2022. This version includes an additional town, new NPCs, and other enhancements, promising a comprehensive and definitive experience when Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon hits the market.
