Pandoland is an open-world RPG with a blocky aesthetic

Author : Ryan May 19,2025

Frequent readers may recall our excitement back in late 2024 when we first delved into the upcoming naval-themed casual RPG, Pandoland. As promised, Pandoland has now set sail on iOS and Android, and it's time to explore what this game offers to mobile RPG enthusiasts.

The first thing that catches your eye with Pandoland is its distinctive blocky aesthetic. While it might seem simple at first glance, don't let that fool you. Designed with a casual audience in mind, Pandoland still packs a punch with deep and engaging gameplay mechanics that will captivate even the most seasoned RPG players.

In Pandoland, you'll navigate a vast open world spanning both land and sea, unveiling new territories, treasures, and dungeons as you clear the fog of war. Once you've ventured into these newly discovered areas, you'll switch to an engaging isometric combat system to face off against a variety of monsters and epic bosses.

Pandoland Gameplay

One of the standout features of Pandoland is the ability to recruit over 500 companions to build your ultimate team. These companions can be upgraded using the treasures you find on your adventures. Sometimes, you'll need to team up with other players to conquer challenging dungeons or simply to check their Adventure Records for tips and missed opportunities.

With over 100k downloads already, Pandoland has proven to be immensely popular. Given its blend of accessible gameplay with substantial depth, it has the potential to become a long-standing favorite among RPG fans.

However, if Pandoland doesn't quite float your boat, or if you're looking to expand your gaming repertoire, be sure to check out our comprehensive list of the top 25 best RPGs available on iOS and Android!
