Pokémon GO's Max Out Season Introduces Dynamax Pokémon!

Get ready for a giant-sized adventure in Pokémon GO! The upcoming Max Out season, running from September 10th, 10:00 a.m. to September 15th, 8:00 p.m. local time, will introduce Dynamax Pokémon to the game. This exciting addition will be accompanied by a host of in-game events and rewards.

Prepare for 1-star Max Battles featuring Dynamax Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Skwovet, and Wooloo! Catch these powerful Pokémon, including shiny variants, and then Dynamax your own collection, including their evolved forms.

Pokémon Go Dynamax Confirmed for Max Out Season

The Max Out season also includes:

  • Special Field Research tasks.
  • PokéStop Showcases with event-themed Pokémon and reward opportunities.
  • A Seasonal Special Research story (available September 3rd, 10:00 a.m. to December 3rd, 9:59 a.m. local time) offering rewards like Max Particles and a new avatar item.

Pokémon Go Dynamax Confirmed for Max Out Season

For a head start, a Max Particle Pack Bundle (4,800 Max Particles) will be available for $7.99 on the Pokémon GO web store starting September 8th, 6:00 p.m. PDT. These particles are crucial for Dynamax battles.

While Niantic remains mum on speculation, rumors suggest the arrival of Power Spots next month, serving as key locations for Max Battles, Dynamax Pokémon encounters, and Max Particle collection. Furthermore, Pokémon GO senior producer John Funtanilla hinted at some Dynamax Pokémon's ability to Mega Evolve, though Gigantamax Pokémon remain unconfirmed for now.
