Pokémon Go Tests Go Pass in Select Regions

Author : Ava Apr 15,2025

Get ready, Pokémon Go trainers! A new feature, the Go Pass, is currently in a test phase in select regions. This exciting addition, inspired by the success of the Tour Pass during the Pokémon Go Tour: Unova, promises to enhance your gaming experience with new ways to earn rewards. If you're in one of the eligible areas, you can participate in the Go Pass: April event, running from April 1st to May 6th, and snag some fantastic goodies.

In the world of gaming, battle passes have become a staple, and now Pokémon Go is joining the trend with the Go Pass. During the event, you'll have the opportunity to collect Go Points, which will help you rank up your pass and unlock a variety of rewards. These include encounters with Xerneas, Stardust, XP, and Poké Balls, making your journey through the world of Pokémon even more rewarding.

The Go Pass comes in two tiers: Free and Deluxe. The Free tier is accessible to everyone, but if you're looking for more substantial bonuses, the Go Pass Deluxe is the way to go. It offers premium rewards like a Lucky Trinket, Candy XL, and useful items such as Incubators and Lure Modules. You can upgrade to Deluxe at any time and retroactively collect rewards from previously unlocked ranks, ensuring you don't miss out on any benefits.

As you progress through the Go Pass, you'll reach Major Milestones that unlock additional perks. Tier one extends the duration of Daily Adventure Incense, Tier two boosts XP and Stardust from Research Breakthroughs, and Tier three increases Stardust and XP from hatching Eggs. And for those who go Deluxe, the final reward is another Lucky Trinket, ensuring you can guarantee a Lucky Friend.

Don't forget to grab some extra freebies by redeeming *Pokémon Go codes!*

Since the Go Pass is still in its testing phase, the rewards and structure may differ between regions. Some areas might receive different encounters, adjusted item rewards, or even PokéCoins at certain ranks. These variations are part of Niantic's effort to fine-tune the system before its global rollout.

If you're in an eligible region, this is your golden opportunity to try out the Go Pass before it becomes available worldwide. Remember to claim all your earned rewards by May 8th, and use your Lucky Trinket before it expires on May 11th!
