Pokémon Sleep Development Transitioned to Pokémon Works

Previously, Select Button Co., Ltd. and The Pokémon Company, Ltd. jointly managed Pokémon Sleep's development and operation. This collaborative effort is now shifting to Pokémon Works, a newly established subsidiary formed earlier this year.

Pokémon Works, a joint venture between The Pokémon Company and Iruka Co., Ltd., is based in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Interestingly, their location is shared with ILCA, the studio behind Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl remakes and a contributor to Pokémon HOME. Pokémon Works' representative director, Takuya Iwasaki, confirmed their involvement in Pokémon HOME development.

While the company's past Pokémon-related projects are limited, their stated goal is to make the Pokémon experience more immersive and enjoyable for all. The exact implementation of this vision within Pokémon Sleep remains to be seen.
