Marvel Rivals Season 1 unleashes new characters, maps, and game modes, including a fresh challenge set rewarding players with free items, such as a Thor skin. This guide focuses on triggering Recursive Destruction in the Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown map.

What is Recursive Destruction in Marvel Rivals?

The initial "Blood Moon Over the Big Apple" challenge requires triggering Recursive Destruction. This involves destroying Dracula-influenced objects that then reappear in their original state. However, not all destructible objects work; only those highlighted in red when viewed through Chrono Vision.

Chrono Vision is activated using the "B" key (keyboard) or the right D-pad button (console). It highlights destructible objects, but only the red-highlighted ones trigger Recursive Destruction.

To complete this challenge, play Quick Match (Midtown). Initially, no red-highlighted objects will be available. You must wait until the first checkpoint. Two buildings will then appear on the map, capable of triggering Recursive Destruction. Target these buildings amidst the combat. While you might not always see the objects reappear immediately due to the fast-paced gameplay, several hits should suffice. If unsuccessful, simply replay the match. After completing this, focus on subsequent challenges featuring Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman.

Marvel Rivals is currently available on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
