Respawn, Bit Reactor Unveil Star Wars Tactical Game April 19

Respawn Entertainment, in partnership with Bit Reactor—a studio established by former XCOM developers—will officially unveil their new Star Wars tactical strategy game on April 19, 2025. The much-anticipated reveal is set to occur during the Star Wars Celebration event in Japan, offering fans an exciting initial glimpse into the project.

First announced in 2022, information about the game has been limited until now. Recent updates indicate that it's being crafted with Unreal Engine 5 and will incorporate turn-based combat, promising players a rich tactical experience within the beloved Star Wars universe.

Despite significant layoffs at EA earlier this year, developers confirmed in March 2024 that the project remains on track and unaffected. The upcoming reveal is expected to delve into crucial details about the game, potentially including a trailer to display its gameplay and visual aesthetics.
