The adrenaline-pumping sports game *Rocket League* has been captivating fans since its debut in 2015. With the launch of Season 18, the game continues to evolve, introducing exciting new features and enhancements. Rocket League Season 18 kicked off on Friday, March 14 at 12 pm EST across all platforms, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. Players logging in during Season 18 can claim the exclusive Future Fashion player banner. Additionally, the Breathe player anthem is available for free in the item shop until 2:59 am EST on Friday, March 21, as part of the season's incentives.

Season 18 is set to run until Wednesday, June 18, giving players ample time to complete Rocket Passes and other seasonal challenges to earn more rewards. To maximize your experience, consider purchasing the new premium Rocket Pass, which offers access to a range of new car customizations, ensuring you score in style. With a fresh arena, new mutators, features, and car bodies, Rocket League continues to push the boundaries of excitement.

Season 18 introduces several exciting additions, including the new Futura Garden arena and two new car bodies: the Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack and the Azura. The Daytona is immediately available upon purchasing the Season 18 premium Rocket Pass and features the Dominus-style hitbox. The Azura, available in the higher tiers of the premium Rocket Pass, uses the Breakout style hitbox. Both car bodies are cross-playable in Fortnite once unlocked. Additionally, a new sound cue has been added to enhance the experience when players miss goals off the goalposts or crossbeam, providing a satisfying ping.

A variety of mutators are now available to modify game conditions in both Exhibition Mode and private matches, with new additions and modifications to existing mutators. Season-specific challenges and competitive matches are ready for players to dive into, along with Season 18 tournaments offering unique rewards. Any unspent Season 17 points will be automatically converted into rewards.

On the technical side, Season 18 includes slight adjustments to the center of mass for several car bodies and refinements to the game's internal matchmaking processes within subregions. Numerous performance issues and bugs have been addressed, as detailed in the patch notes from Epic Games. To promote a safe and sportsmanlike community, players can now use voice reporting to report toxic behavior post-match, in line with the game's community rules.
